“Weekend Retreat”

This spacious room with coordinating fabrics and wall coverings reminds you of an English Cottage with the sage walls and oak fireplace.  A distressed  shutter headboard on the king-sized bed, a mirror and dressers in natural and whitewashed finishes accent the cottage look.  Paintings of flowers and birds set the mood of a weekend hideaway while the antique hooked rug suggests country comfort.

Weekend Retreat

The room features furniture, accent pieces, lamps and fabrics available through the many local showrooms.  This room is so comfortable, you will probably not even turn on the television.

Doctors Den

“Doctors Den”

Hunter green walls and rich wood trim surround a four-poster, king-size cherry bed that stands proudly at the center of the room. Two Queen Anne chairs face a faux marble fireplace and a color TV.  Well worn medical books from the early 1900's, old apothecary jars of days gone by and an antique "quack box" add interesting touches to this distinctive room.

“Warm Morning”

This elegant room, named for the old coal-burning stove that once warmed its occupants, features a four-poster, king-size, iron bed with an oak leaf and acorn motif on the headboard and footboard. Antique oak furnishings refinished by your innkeepers, a color TV atop a hand-painted Bombay chest, and a spacious bathroom add a personal touch.

Warm Morning

The deep, pine green walls are the perfect backdrop for a gold framed floral print above the fireplace mantel and the tapestry-like bedspread and curtains.

 Wellington Room

“Wellington Room”

This room features a tiled bath complete with pedestal sink reminiscent of the early 1900's.  Warm green, rust and gold of the fabrics complement the Mahogany Pencil Post king-sized bed and armoire.  The relaxing shades of the tan walls and the pattern of the area rugs complete the look of an early 1900's arts and crafts room, along with accent pieces from the nearby pottery galleries in Seagrove.

Views of the large oak in the front lawn and a large holly tree in the side lawn make this an especially cozy spot to curl up and read after a day of visiting either the furniture galleries or the pottery exhibit and shops in Seagrove.

“Parlor”

Once the formal parlor of the home, this walnut-trimmed, first-floor guest room is decorated in a light, Victorian-style.  Comfortable twin beds, antique armoire, reading chairs complete the atmosphere.

Parlor

Draw the drapes over the sliding pocket doors to create your own secluded haven.  A perfect place for the traveler needing a quiet respite to ready or watch the national news.  Easy access to the front porch rocking chairs is a strong attraction for this room.

Rates are $130 - $145, double occupancy, please check availabilities for more information.
